Factory was founded in 1988 by Joris Bannenberg and Dirk Meyer. Both hold a PhD in biomaterials and surgical technology and have over 15 years of experience in medical device studies. In the first years their activities consisted mainly of consulting for medical device companies.
The first contract research activities date back to 1994. After gaining extensive experience in experimental surgery and the medical industry, Factory-CRO started offering clinical trial services for medical devices. The organization expanded its service scope towards clinical trial services for biomaterials and biologicals.
Factory-CRO is recognized nowadays by its excellent complete range of services from study design to expert reporting in clinical evaluation of Medical Devices.
